How to export your Stocky data before it shuts down
Stocky stops working on August 31, 2026. Shopify says you keep read only access to export your data for at least 90 days after that, so this is not a race against a single midnight, but the app goes dark and everything depending on its API goes with it. Doing the export while the app still works is far easier than doing it afterwards.

Export these, in one sitting
Budget 40 to 60 minutes. Each of these is a separate report and a separate CSV:
- Purchase orders, the full list plus line item detail if your plan shows it
- Stocktakes, each completed one
- Inventory adjustments
- Product cost data, because Stocky's cost fields do not all live in Shopify
- Forecast or demand reports, if you used them
- Any report you personally open monthly, even if it is not on this list
Do these three things while you export
- Screenshot each report screen before you export it. A CSV that turns out to be missing a column is much easier to argue about when you have a picture of what was on screen.
- Put everything in one folder, then copy that folder somewhere else. Cloud storage, another drive, anywhere that is not the same laptop.
- Open two or three of the CSVs. Confirm they actually contain rows. An export that silently produced a header and nothing else is a real failure mode and you want to find it now.
What this data is actually for
Two things, and it is worth being clear about which. Purchase order history and stocktakes are mostly records: you keep them for accounting, for supplier disputes and for answering "what did we pay for this in March". Cost data and supplier details are operational: you need them the first week you order stock without Stocky. If you are short on time, do suppliers and costs first.
Nothing here migrates into Shopify admin on its own. Native purchase orders and transfers start empty, and no import brings your Stocky history into them.
